Overview

By providing a security policy and an acceptable use policy and putting security systems (firewalls, access control) and procedures in place, we aim to achieve the following outcomes...

  • Provide a safe environment for online gaming, chatting, and other online social networking.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the internal systems so that they maintain service availability.
  • Ascertain that the internal systems will not cause security concerns to the users or the wider Internet community.

Security Policy

The security policy underpins the Acceptable Use Policy, security implementation/maintainance, and incident response.

At Kiwiarena, we take security very seriously.

  • We will operate and maintain a firewall on the perimeter of the network.
  • We will only use an operating system and software that is secure and free from known vulnerabilities.
  • We will keep the operating system and software up to date using software update managers.
  • All private details will remain confidential.

Any breaches will be taken very seriously and will be handled using a formal incident response co-ordinated by the Security Point of Contact. Action will be taken by Security Point of Contact and the action taken will depend on the nature of the breach and the resources available at the time to the Security Point of Contact.

If you believe

  • There has been a breach
  • You have fallen victim due to a breach
